The ruler in centimetres with two markers and the distance between them

Setting up: lay a card on the screen and slide the line to its edge

Need to measure something small, like a screw, a button or a photo? Lay it on your screen and read the size, in centimetres and millimetres or in inches. With two markers you slide into place, you see the distance between them straight away. Works in portrait and landscape.

How big a millimetre is on a screen differs per device. That is why you set up the ruler once with a card: under the international standard ISO/IEC 7810 a bank card or driving licence is always 85.60 × 53.98 mm. How accurately the ruler measures depends on how carefully you do that. Your setting is kept on this device; works offline.
